A one-acre industrial site in a prime location in Redditch has been acquired for £1.65million in an investment deal concluded by award-winning commercial property specialist Bromwich Hardy.
The detached 20,700 sq ft warehouse at Unit 46, Heming Road, on the Washford Estate, is home to one of the region’s longest-established companies and has been bought by an unnamed investor.
Bromwich Hardy founding partner Tom Bromwich said the acquisition was an excellent investment for his client and further proof that the market remained strong for the right properties.
“Washford is one of Redditch’s premier industrial estates and the location close to the M42 and right at the heart of the nation’s transport network could hardly be better.
“The site is home to a first-class business in Entaco Limited, a UK based manufacturing firm established over 300 years ago which operates across the medical, upholstery and fishing sectors.
“Redditch itself has an enviable reputation for its manufacturing heritage and highly-skilled workforce and is home to a raft of major companies, with demand for space currently greatly outstripping supply.
“The area as a whole remains an excellent proposition for investors with lots of positive factors in its favour. This was a first-rate opportunity which our client was delighted to have secured.”
The deal is the latest success for Bromwich Hardy, which consistently features at the top of the rankings for most successful commercial property agencies in the region, and also further afield.
Statistics released by Estates Gazette show Bromwich Hardy clearly at the top of the leaderboard of the most active agents in Warwickshire having transacted 509,274 sq ft of space so far this year.
The figure is more than twice that of its nearest rival. The figures also show that in quarter two – from April 1 to June 30 – Bromwich Hardy topped the Warwickshire league table with 65,814 sq ft of space across the three months – nearly double that of its closest rival.
Bromwich Hardy also appears in the top ranking agents for the West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humberside regions as well as Leicestershire and West Yorkshire counties.
