Two units on a Coventry industrial estate have sold for more than £1.5m in a deal brokered by Bromwich Hardy.
The refurbished units on the Bayton Road Industrial Estate were snapped up by city investment company Dehill Property Holdings Ltd from the Premier Group for £1.52m. The units – at 29, 31 Brindley Road and 47 Bayton Road – both feature office and warehouse space with a combined total floor space of 25,225 sq ft.
Bromwich Hardy partner James Brookes said the sale highlighted the value of well-placed and well-maintained industrial property in the city.
“The two units are in excellent condition having recently been improved to a very high standard and the sale price reflects the high value this sort of property can attract.”
Both units had benefited from a new roof and included yards and storage to the rear and excellent parking at the front.
James said Bromwich Hardy had now been instructed on two similar properties on the same road and will begin marketing them in the next few weeks.
‘The new properties for sale provide an industrial investment opportunity in a very strong regional market. They come with a market value rent role, decent term and well-known occupier who has refurbished the space extensively. We believe they will sell very well in this post-Brexit, Brave New World.”
