Bromwich Hardy has completed the £1.15m acquisition of a drive-thru Starbucks site for private investors.
Tom Bromwich, partner in the Coventry-based commercial property specialists, acted for the purchasers in the sale of the 1,800sq ft single-storey unit in Swansea.
The site, in Langdon Road, will continue to operate as a Starbucks under the terms of a 15-year lease signed in 2015, with an annual rent of £65,000.
It sits on the main route into Swansea from the M4 motorway and is close to the new Swansea Bay campus for the city’s university, which will be home to 5,000 students and 1,000 staff when fully occupied.
Mr Bromwich said the site represented an excellent investment opportunity.
“The unit is just off a busy dual carriageway and next to the new University campus and we are delighted to have been able to secure the purchase for our clients.”
