Expert advice from leading commercial property specialist Bromwich Hardy has helped secure a new long-term lease on a courtyard office development – and the subsequent sale of the site.
Bromwich Hardy founding partner Tom Bromwich said the Coventry-based agency had been able to seal a significant double win for its clients over the development at Hockley Court in Solihull.
“In the first instance we acted in re-gearing the lease at the site on behalf of our private client following a comprehensive refurbishment programme,” Tom said.
“The tenant is a major European cookware business and as a result of our negotiations has committed for a further five years to the building.”
Once the lease was completed, Bromwich Hardy then successfully sold the investment on behalf of their client in an off-market deal to a family trust fund.
“We were delighted to assist our client in both asset management – the re-gearing of the lease – and the subsequent sale of the investment created. The whole package shows that there remains a good appetite for well-let and well-located properties,” added Tom.
Hockley Court is a modern office development just 1.5 miles due south of Junction 4 of the M42 and 1.8 miles from Junction 16 of the M40.
Earlier this year Bromwich Hardy was named the most active agent in Warwickshire by leading trade publication Estates Gazette for the sixth year running.
The agency features a multi-disciplinary team with more than 200 years’ experience in commercial property and a single-minded dedication to meeting clients’ commercial interests.
