The Retail Motor Industry Federation has recently agreed terms to occupy Buildings 2 & 3 at Clearwater Business Park.
They will join Clearwater Group and G8 Elements Limited at the Business Park, which provides an excellent environment in which to work and is almost equidistant between the M40, M1 and M6.
The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) is a leading automotive trade body in the UK, representing franchised car and commercial vehicle dealers, auction houses and cherished number plate dealers who provide sales and services to motorists and businesses across the UK.
The RMI will open a brand new, state of the art training facility at Clearwater Business Park to act as a leading industry resource for MOT tester training. The centre will provide many benefits and opportunities to members as it expands and develops.
The new centre will initially focus on MOT training, but will provide more courses in the future based on the needs of the industry.
The training centre will be open to independent garages and franchised dealers, and the building will contain a fully equipped workshop and three classrooms.
The RMI has been working with DVSA to develop the new National Occupational Standards for the MOT trade, and supports The DVSA’s move to open up MOT training to meet the needs of the industry. The new facility will provide a vital resource across the UK throughout this change and beyond.
