Bromwich Hardy founding partner Tom Bromwich is a chartered surveyor with more than three decades of experience and a strong entrepreneurial drive.

Tom, one of the most respected commercial property experts in the region, has grown Bromwich Hardy into an award-winning, results-driven agency which has been named the most active agency in Warwickshire for each of the last nine years.

Under his leadership the agency also regularly features at the top end of league tables for its work all across the country.

He focuses on private clients, both individuals and private companies, and is relationship driven. Tom deals with agency and investment instructions as well as leading on development projects.

Away from Bromwich Hardy, Tom is chair of trustees at the Get A-Head charity, which supports people with head and neck cancer and disease and which has raised more than £10million to help fund research and equipment.

Dawn is a partner at Bromwich Hardy and responsible for the day-to-day running of the office. She also oversees the agency’s highly-successful and fast-growing property management team, which manages some of the most historic buildings across Coventry.

Since joining Bromwich Hardy as PA to founding partners Tom Bromwich and Richard Hardy eight years ago, Dawn has helped introduce new processes and procedures to make the business more efficient and also looks after HR matters and all aspects of client care.

This year Dawn was appointed to the board of the Coventry & Warwickshire First organisation, which brings together professional and financial services firms from across the region to offer members advice and support.

Bromwich Hardy partner David Penn is one of the best-known and most respected faces in the Coventry and Warwickshire business world, and is a Past-President of the region’s Chamber of Commerce.

David, who joined Bromwich Hardy in 2015, specialises in commercial agency, valuations, investment disposals and acquisitions, and property development.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial property and is a fellow of the RICS and a Registered Valuer. He has been twice named Property Professional of the Year in the prestigious FirstPro awards.

David’s expertise is in constant demand across the region and he is a member of Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s Employment Land Panel. This year he played a leading role in helping compile a major report for the Chamber into the lack of employment land provision in the region.

Surveyor Caine Gilchrist AssocRICS works across the whole company focusing on agency, property management and marketing of the business. Caine is a diverse surveyor able to bring a complete and well balanced approach to all property matters. 

Having joined Bromwich Hardy in October 2022, Caine manages over 100+ commercial tenants and operates an agency portfolio of 70+ properties across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Originally from Australia, Caine brings considerable commercial property experience with him achieving AssocRICS status in January 2024.

Mark, who graduated with a first-class degree in business management, is now being sponsored by the firm through a Masters in real estate management at Birmingham City University and previously spent a year working with us as part of a partnership with Coventry University.

Richard qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1976 and has worked in Warwickshire and the West Midlands since 1978, building up an unrivalled knowledge of the area. He is a founding partner of Bromwich Hardy and brings a wealth of experience to the company.

He provides corporate property advice for a number of multi-national companies, notably Volvo Group UK Ltd and its subsidiaries. He specialises in landlord and tenant matters together with acquisitions and disposals throughout the UK. Richard also acts for a number of public bodies, including Warwickshire County Council and The Warwickshire College Group, in disposing of land for residential development. He is a trustee of a number of charities including Warwick-based Positive about Young People, which helps youngsters facing educational challenges achieve their full potential.

Chartered surveyor Steve Compton has joined Bromwich Hardy as a consultant, with a particular focus on the property management side of the agency.

Steve is a highly experienced, professionally-qualified development and regeneration specialist with a 40-year track record of successful delivery covering all aspects of physical and economic regeneration and property development.

During a successful career, Steve has worked in both the public and private sector, He was appointed chief executive of Opportunity Peterborough URC in 2007. Since 2010 he has operated his own specialist property consultancy providing general professional and specialist property development services. He has also been a keen promoter of the use of modern methods of construction across the industry. 

 His skillset includes the ability to develop strong relationships on projects, a clear but pragmatic approach to delivering commercial goals and securing project finance especially from public sector grant and loan programmes.

Ewa Koperkiewicz joined Bromwich Hardy as Head of Facilities Management in September 2024, bringing over 10 years of experience in managing a diverse portfolio of residential, industrial, and commercial properties. Previously, she spent several years in London managing flagship high-end office and retail spaces, refining her expertise in sustainability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Ewa also gained significant experience overseeing large-scale retail portfolios, where she implemented key maintenance strategies and improved multi-site operations to drive cost savings and performance.

In her current role, Ewa is responsible for overseeing property operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. With a strong background in risk management, ESG compliance, and project management, she is committed to upholding the highest standards of operational excellence while delivering results that align with both regulatory and environmental goals.

Allan is our head of property management and plays a vital role in the continued growth of the department.

He oversees the running of a number of commercial sites across the country with a range of responsibilities.

Allan’s key roles include landlord/tenant communication, ground maintenance, risk and security management, utility procurement, building maintenance and insurance, ensuring all health & safety requirements are adhered to and working on project management cases.

Allan joined the team in 2016 bringing a wealth of experience and skills from his previous roles in the justice sector.

Property manager Tom joined Bromwich Hardy in 2020 and is a key member of our property management department, bringing 10 years of skills and experience from the justice sector.

Along with Allan, Tom oversees the running of a number of commercial sites across the country with a range of responsibilities.

As a property manager, responsibilities include maintaining property condition, addressing tenant concerns, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing budgets. Tom strives to create and maintain positive relationships with both property owners and tenants, aiming to provide exceptional service and prompt resolution to any issues that may arise.

Certified Accountant Ian Melville joined Bromwich Hardy in January 2020 as property accountant working on service charges.

Ian is a highly experienced property professional with over 50 years in the business. Having been a finance director and property development director in a large public company and a property director in a large private company he has been responsible for a number of large retail, residential and commercial estates throughout the UK.

Following his retirement in 2014 and prior to joining Bromwich Hardy, Ian provided consultancy to large housing associations and a Christian charity developing their service charge, procurement and property acquisition programme.

Jazz joined Bromwich Hardy in August 2019 as the agency’s sales ledger & credit control manager and is now Head of Property Finance. She has helped Bromwich Hardy achieve a high success rate in debt collection for rent and service charges thanks to her hard work, efficient and proactive manner and good communication skills. 

Prior to joining Bromwich Hardy, Jazz worked for a residential property management company in London for 11 years. She helped establish its finance department and was managing a team of four by the time she left.

Hayley is our purchase ledger and utility accounts manager, having joined Bromwich Hardy in 2020 as a property accounts assistant.

She has quickly established herself as an integral part of the team, and has completed a number of accountancy qualifications to develop her impressive skillset.

Samantha Pittom is our sales ledger clerk who joined us following an extensive career in accounts over more than three decades. She brings invaluable experience as an accounts manager with various businesses in a range of sectors and also spent time as an insolvency administrator.

She has quickly made herself part of the team at Bromwich Hardy.

After an earlier career in retail, Tracy Tilley retrained and now has more than ten years’ experience in finance, having worked in a similar role in businesses in Leicestershire. 

She lives near Rugby and has three grown up children. Outside of work, she has a passion for musicals and shows, and loves to play the drums. 

She no longer trains but has a Black Belt in Taekwondo.

Office administrator Kylie Banks joined the Bromwich Hardy team in August 2023.

Kylie previously worked in administration for a privately owned serviced office accommodation business, gaining a wide range of experience over ten years, including conducting viewings, managing virtual clients and some experience with accounts.

Having joined Bromwich Hardy in September 2023, Charlie is thrilled to kick off his journey in commercial real estate. Charlie is eager to learn the ins and outs of property matters and is a fast learner. As an apprentice, he will be blending practical on-the-job knowledge and academics with studies at Birmingham City University, all while working towards his APC and becoming a Chartered Surveyor accredited by RICS.
