Leading commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy has sealed a deal for a growing business at Warwick’s Bishop’s House office building.
Widgit Software was based on the first floor of Bishop’s House, on Leamington Spa’s 132-acre Tachbrook business park, but has now expanded to take on the whole of the ground floor as well.
Tom Bromwich, managing partner with Bromwich Hardy - which acted for Bishops House’s landlords IAPS, the Independent Association of Prep Schools – said: “We are delighted to have been able to work with Widgit Software – a long running Leamington company – to enable their expansion.”
Widgit is a pioneering software company that has worked in the field of symbols-based communication for more than four decades.
Mr Bromwich said: “The deal sees Widgit secure a five-year lease on the first and ground floors of Bishops House, with the use of 40 spaces in the building’s car park.
“The new lease is on a fully effective repairing and insuring basis.”
Law firm Rollasons acted for landlord IAPS, while Amardeep Mann from Mann & Co acted for Widgit Software.
